Abstract
Shipping safety is mandatory when it comes to activities at sea. Recognizing the importance of safety on voyages both before sailing and during sailing, this is because safety is the main goal in transportation and at work, so the attention of all parties is always that safety is the main goal. This study aims to determine the effect of Ship Seaworthiness, KSOP Responsibilities and ISM CODE and ease of use on Sailing Safety. The population in this study were ship crews such as crew members, pilots or ship captains and the sample used in this study was 57 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling probability sampling, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 26. The formulation of the regression in this study is as follows : Y= 1.502 + 0,366 X1 + 0,182 X2 + 0,244 X3 + µ From this equation it is known that the variable that has the most dominant influence on Sailing Safety is the Ship Seaworthiness variable with a regression coefficient of 0.366, then in second place is the KSOP Responsibility variable with a regression coefficient of 0.182 and finally the ISM CODE variable with a regression coefficient of 0.244. For Hypothesis Testing, each tcount is greater than ttable (2.00404) and the significant value of each independent variable is smaller than 0.05. The R2 (R Square) test obtained a result of 0.512 or 51,2%, which means that Sailing Safety is influenced by the variables Ship Seaworthiness, KSOP Responsibility and ISM CODE, which is 51,2% and other factors that influence Sailing Safety, which is 48,8%. The rest is influenced by other variables that were not studied, for example guidance, service quality, security, and so on. Keywords: Sailing Safety, Ship Seaworthiness, KSOP and Implementasi ISM CODE
