Abstract

Traffic accidents are influenced by several factors including road conditions, human error, vehicle condition, traffic sign factors. Of the four, they have an influence on traffic accidents. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence road conditions, human error, vehicle condition and traffic sign factors have on traffic accidents on Jalan Blora-Cepu KM.12, In this study, the research population is motorbike users who pass along Jalan Blora-Cepu KM.12 using a sampling system with a total of 100 respondents. The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.25 program obtained the multiple linear regression equation Y = -1.533 + 0.331X1 + 0.351X2 + 0.247X3 + 0.189X4 + µ. Shows that, based on empirical facts (results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression showing that the road condition variable (X1) has a t count of 3.649 and a t table of 1.98525, then H1 is accepted and significant, human error (X2) has a t count of 1.98525. 4.328 and t table of 1.98525, then H2 is accepted and significant, vehicle condition (X3) has t count of 3.490 and t table of 1.98525, then H3 is accepted and significant, traffic sign factor (X4) has t count of 2.383 and t table of 1.98525, then H4 is accepted and significant. In the coefficient of determination (R Square) test, the Adjust R Square value is 0.62, meaning that 62% of the variation in the dependent variable of traffic accident factors can be explained by the independent variables of road conditions, human error, vehicle conditions, and traffic sign factors. Meanwhile, the remaining 38% is explained by other causes outside the variables studied (infrastructure and side obstacles). Keywords: Traffic Accidents, Road Conditions, Human Error, Vehicle Conditions, Traffic Sign Factors.
