Abstract

Transportation is an important aspect of daily human life or activities. Passenger satisfaction is a form of satisfaction after using a product or service and will use it continuously. This research aims to determine the factors that influence passenger satisfaction in using Brantas Train services in executive carriages for the Blitar - Pasar Senen Jakarta route. The population in this study were users of the Brantas Railway executive carriage services on the Blitar - Pasar Senen Jakarta route with a research sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely Incidental Sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (Software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of this research show that the variables of facilities, trust, brand image and ease of access to information partially influence passenger satisfaction. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained the equation Y = - 0.598 + 0.497.X1 + 0.153.X2 + 0.151.X3 + 0.281. From the regression equation it can also be seen that the most dominant variable influencing passenger satisfaction is the facility variable with a regression coefficient of 0.497. And the coefficient of determination value obtained (Adjusted R Square = 0.577) means 57.7%. The coefficient of determination value is 57.7%, while the remainder (100% - 57.7% = 42.3%) is influenced by other variables outside the research or modal regression equation.
