Abstract
Interest is the behavior of individuals who are dynamic to do all their desires for something. Desires come from oneself, such as wanting something or future desires to be achieved. Therefore, in this study, in this study, bicycle lane users are special lanes intended for traffic for bicycle users and non-motorized vehicles that require human labor, separated from motor vehicle traffic to improve the traffic safety of bicycle users. The use of bicycles does need to be given facilities to improve the safety of bicycle users and can increase traffic speed for bicycle users. This study aims to determine whether bicycle lane facilities, environmentally friendly transportation, comfort, cyclist characteristics affect the interest of bicycle lane users on Lawu road, Karanganyar Regency. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents with a nonprobability sampling sample technique with a type of sampling, namely insidental sampling. Data analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. This research by testing the t-test hypothesis partially shows that bicycle lane facilities do not have a positive and significant effect on the interest of bicycle lane users and shows that environmentally friendly transportation, comfort, cyclist characteristics have a positive and significant effect on the interest of bicycle lane users. The formulation of regression in this study is : Y = 1.668 - 0.081.X1 + 0.223.X2 + 0.454.X3 + 0.237.X4 + μ From the results of the equation shows that the variable Bicycle lane facility (X1) has ( t count -1.380 < ttable 1.98498 ), environmentally friendly transportation to user interest bike lanes (t count 2.581> t table 1.98498), convenience to the interests of bike lane users (t count 3.938> t table 1.98498) cyclist characteristics of the interests of bike lane users (t count 2.491 < ttable 1.98498 ). From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the interest of bicycle lane users is the comfort variable with a regression coefficient of 3.938 and obtained the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square = 0.631) means 63.1% while the rest (100%-63.1%=36.9%) influenced by variables outside the study or outside the regression equation model.
