Abstract
Container depot companies provide storage services with a maintenance/repair process for containers. In the process of loading and unloading emty containers at the depot, there are problems with the implementation of loading and unloading which is less effective and the quality of the workforce is less professional, which is also an obstacle for PT Masaji Tatanan Kontainer Indonesia, so there is a need to improve the facilities or equipment for loading and unloading containers and there must be awareness to employees not to waste time at work. The method used in the research uses simulation. There has been a reduction in total waiting time from 65 minutes to 20 minutes. In the process of loading and unloading emty containers, after improving the scenario, the total waiting time was reduced. So as to reduce vehicle queues, system maintenance is carried out periodically to ensure smooth data input into the system thereby reducing EMKL queues in the waiting room, and expanding the area to accommodate trucks that will carry out loading and unloading of emty containers.
