Abstract
Effectiveness comes from the word effective, which means having consequences, influence, and being able to bring results. Effectiveness is also defined as measuring success in achieving predetermined goals. The effectiveness of a loading and unloading performance system is the utilization of resources, facilities and infrastructure in a certain amount that is consciously determined in advance to produce a number of goods for the services of the activities it carries out. Increasing the quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of port facilities, loading and unloading equipment, employee performance and loading and unloading time on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance. This research was conducted at Bagendang Sampit Harbor, Central Kalimantan. The sample used was ship crew at Bagendang Sampit Port, Central Kalimantan. Data collection was carried out using observation, literature study, documentation and questionnaire methods. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS V.26 program. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equation is produced: Y = 7,695+ 0,589 X1, + 0,397 X2 -0,232 X3 - 0,336 X4 + µ Where the variables Loading and Unloading Performance Effectiveness (Y), Port Facilities (X1), Loading and Unloading Equipment (X2), Employee Performance (X3) and Loading and Unloading Time (X4) were tested using the t test showing that the four independent variables partially have a significant influence on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance as the dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square figure of 0.594 shows that 59.4% of the loading and unloading performance effectiveness variable can be explained through the four independent variables in the regression equation. Meanwhile, the remaining 40.6% is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in this research.
