Abstract

In responding to transportation needs, interest is the basis that can influence consumer choices in choosing various types of services that are currently developing. In this era of rapid development and population growth, people tend to choose fast and affordable transportation. The public will demand Promotion, Security, Facilities and Price Perception, so that service users are more careful in choosing everything that can be used according to their needs. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not there is a partial influence of Promotion, Security, Facilities and Price Perceptions on Consumer Interest of Dharmawangsa Train passengers at Semarang Tawang Station. In this research, the objects taken were Dharmawangsa Train passengers at Semarang Tawang Station, with a sample of 100 respondents. Data sources include primary and secondary data using multiple linear regression data analysis techniques with the SPSS IBM V.25 application tool which produces the regression equation Y = -2.323 + 0.337X1 + 0.206X2 + 0.375X3 + 0.288X4 + µ. Shows that there is a partial positive and significant influence between promotion on consumer interest (tcount 4.014 > ttable 1.98498), Security on consumer interest (tcount 2.820 > ttable 1.98498), Facilities on consumer interest (tcount 3.589 > ttable 1.98498 ), Price perception on consumer interest (tcount 3.208 > ttable 1.98498). The coefficient of determination gets an Rsquare value of 0.792, thus 79.2% of the remaining 20.8% (100% - 79.2%) is caused by other factors.
