Abstract

In the passenger ship building project at PT Janata Marina Indah Semarang there is a delay in the actual duration of the project. Many factors influence it, one of which is a risk factor. Shipbuilding project delays are closely related to risks from both internal and external sources. To achieve a successful shipbuilding project, it is very important to know the processes that occur in the process. So risk analysis and risk mitigation are needed in risk management of new shipbuilding projects. This research requires a data object in the form of a main project schedule, then a risk analysis is carried out by identifying and verifying the risks that exist in the passenger ship building project. By using the Monte Carlo method and Primavera Risk Analysis Software, this study aims to obtain results in the form of risk ratings, estimates of the success of a project against the project schedule, sensitive activities and project critical paths, as well as risk mitigation or response to passenger shipbuilding projects. The results show the percentage value of the delay is 12.52% of the shipbuilding target. So the project is delayed due to risk. In the passenger ship building project at PT. Janata Marina Indah found 16 risks that affect work with 4 very high risk categories, 9 high risk categories, and 3 medium risk categories.
