Abstract
Transportation is an aspect of the economy that has a very big influence. The increasing development of the economy towards globalization requires some people to carry out very high mobility, so that people will be more discerning in making their choices. SOP is a guide that clearly states what is expected and required of all employees in carrying out daily activities. Apart from that, SOP is also a reference for all employees in carrying out their duties to create work security or safety. Embarkation is an activity carried out by passengers entering the ship and then finding a room or room class according to the ticket. The purpose of this research is to determine ticket sales techniques at PT. Pelni Medan and to find out PT's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Pelni during KM Embarkation activities. Kelud Belawan. The sample in this study was PT. Pelni Medan Branch. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is documentation data. The research results are based on ticket sales techniques from January to June 2023. The most tickets sold were 21,348 tickets in January. Based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), embarkation activities start from checking tickets by security, determining a rest room, getting food and safety insurance for prospective passengers.
