Abstract

The injector is a component on a diesel motor that functions to absorb fuel into the combustion chamber. Injector maintenance in the fuel exhaust system is very important so that the combustion process occurs homogenization of combustion. Based on the background that has been stated, problems can be formulated, namely the weakening of the injector pressure caused by the lack of maintenance of the injectors and the lack of maintenance of the fuel injectors. Taken from this problem, the purpose of this paper is to be able to find out the cause of the weakening of the injector pressure and to find out how to maintain the injectors that cause incomplete combustion of the injectors in the auxiliary engine which all engine crew must know and understand. Therefore, the authors make observations and get the results obtained is that the injector pressure becomes normal and good according to engine specifications, the fuel spraying into the combustion chamber is good, the fuel supply to the injectors becomes smooth and normal and the combustion timing performance returns to normal. In this paper it can be concluded that the cause of the less than optimal performance of the injectors is due to the lack of maintenance on the injectors. Keywords : Injector, Maintenance, Pressure
