Abstract

The injector is one of the main components present in a diesel engine that serves to obscure the fuel into the cylinder.The cause of breakdowns and damage to the injector is the clogging of the nozzle hole and the dripping of fuel at the tip of the nozzle, resulting in the occurrence of incomplete combustion, since the presence of dripping fuel causes the presence of black smoke in the chimney.The purpose of this writing is to understand how to prevent damage to the injector, to know the causes and consequences of the injector It doesn't work to the maximum as well how to repair and maintain the injector so that the fuel fogging is perfect. The methods used in this writing are the method of observation, the method of interviewing, and the method of librarianship. These results can be drawn that can serve as a guideline for performing routine and well-planned maintenance so that the fuel combustion process can be perfect.
