Abstract
In order to minimize the occurrence of work accidents during loading and unloading activities in accordance with loading principles, namely protecting the ship, protecting the workers and protecting the cargo which, if a work accident occurs, will be dangerous for the workers and the cargo itself. Therefore, the author is interested in carrying out research on occupational health and safety (K3) risk analysis in loading and unloading activitiescontainer on board by PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo. The purpose of this observation is to determine the risks and control of occupational health and safety risks in the loading and unloading processcontainer. If a work accident occurs in loading and unloading activities, this will have a direct effect on the effectiveness of loading and unloading and loading and unloading activities will experience delays. Based on the observation method, qualitative,interview and the internet sources that the author obtained, it can be concluded that the risk of occupational health and safety on ships by PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo is not yet maximally aware of the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), there is no standard operational procedure (SOP) regarding the use of PPE and the workers' lack of concern regarding the implementation of occupational health and safety which results in accidents occurring, namely fatal accident.
