Abstract
Shipping is part of the means of sea transportation as mandated Law No. 2008 concerning shipping has become a very strategic matter for national insight and has become a vital tool that supports the golas of national unity and integrity. PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia is a company engaged in sea transportation services, namely passenger ships. PT PELNI focuses on service to passenger satisfaction, passenger service can be defined as all forms of of goods, which in principle are the responsibility and carried out by government agencies at the central, regional, and in the environment of BUMN, of BUMD in the framework of fulfilling community needs as well as in the framework of the provisions of laws and regulations. The purpose of writing this paper in none other than to know how procedures of passenger ships services at PT Pelni branch Semarang. And to kno the quality of services and contraints that occurred during the process of serving passenger ships. The research design used is descriptive qualitative such as observations, interviews, and study documents and literature studies. The result of this paper is the application of standard procedure it can be concluded that the passanger ship services at PT Pelni branch Semarang have met the established standard procedures, and the quality of service at PT Pelni Branch Semarang have is good enough. And the handle of contraints that PT Pelni branch Semarang have is briliants. Key Words : Services,quality of services, passanger ship, procedure.
