Abstract

The maritime safety commission of the IMO (International maritime Organization) is developing requirements for acceptance by parties signing international conventions for the salvation of SOLAS marine life in 1974 (Safety Of Life At Sea 1974), where the ISM Code is mandatory to the international mandate Safety Management (ISM) Code is an international management regulation for safe operation of ships and for pollution prevention, implemented by IMO assemblies and which may be amended by the organization. of this regulation is to ensure the safety of the sea, prevent injury or loss of the human soul and avoid environmental damage especially the marine environment and property damage. Recognizing that all vessel operations can affect the safety and prevention of pollution, companies need to consider dividing all operations related to safety on board, special operations on ships are those whose misconduct may only be seen after a hazardous situation or after an accident occurs, for example: maintaining stability as well as prevention of overload (load) and pressure.
