Abstract
Indonesia is a developing country that is experiencing developments in all fields, especially in terms of resource needs such as meeting the needs for coal resources as a raw material for steam power plants. The principle of planning for loading coal on board must be considered carefully and carried out carefully. This paper was written with the aim that the reader can know clearly how the stages are carried out for the process of handling coal loading, what documents are needed, and which parties participate in the coal loading process. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through field observations and direct interviews at PT. Bahtera Adhiguna while the writer was doing Ground Practice and secondary data was obtained from journals and bibliography as well as other reading sources relating to the subject matter taken. So, for maximum results the process of handling coal loading must be carried out carefully and in accordance with operational standards set by the company to prevent unwanted things. Planning for coal loading is carried out properly and carefully so that the loading handling process can achieve the desired results and to minimize operational constraints. Everything must be done according to procedures, including any documents needed, the parties involved in the coal loading process and the correctloading procedures must be considered.
