Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an influence of service quality, timeliness, and facilities variables on the interest of service users in choosing the Eka Bus for the Semarang-Surabaya route. The population used in this study were all Po bus passengers. Eka in March 2023, which totaled 1,350 population and the sample used in this study were 96 respondents to Po bus passengers. Eka, using a non-probability sampling technique, namely quota sampling. Sampling quota with specific characteristics of respondents aged 17 to 50 years who are individual passengers and are not service users who only use goods/vehicle storage services on the bus without taking the Semarang-Surabaya route. Data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. Based on the results of the research it can be seen that the research model of the linear regression equation multiple is Y= 2.542 + 0.305.X1 + 0.391.X2 + 0.081.X3 µ. The results of the research by testing the hypothesis t-test partially show that the variables of service quality, punctuality have an effect on the interest of service users, while the facilities have no effect on the interest of service users. From the results of this study there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, testing the hypothesis using the t test shows that the three independent variables are the service quality variable of 0.305 (X1), the timeliness variable is 0.391 (X2), and the facility variable is 0.081 (X3) . From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the interest of service users is the timeliness variable with a regression coefficient of 0.391. And the determinant coefficient test (R Square) obtained a result of 0.379 or 37.9%, which means that the interest of service users is influenced by the variables of service quality, timeliness and facilities which are equal to 37.9% and other factors that influence the interest of service users by 62, 1% or 0.621.
