Abstract
Indonesia's increasing economic growth, of course, has an effect on sea transportation, especially in the field of crossings in Indonesia, which is increasingly congested. So in this case PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Merak Branch as one of the shipping companies participates in the mobility or movement of people in the field of crossings. The company is engaged in crossing. In the loading and unloading activities of passengers and vehicles, there are procedures or stages which must be carried out sequentially and there are several agencies involved in the process. So the purpose of writing this paper is to find out how far the performance of ground officers and ship officers regarding the arrangement of boarding and alighting of passengers and vehicles so that the implementation of the up and down runs smoothly and safely can find solutions to problems / solutions to these problems. In this paper using qualitative methods that provide data in the form of words, schemes, and pictures. These data were obtained from interviews, field notes, photos, videos, personal documentation, notes or memos and documentation related to the implementation of employee performance in boarding and alighting passengers and vehicles. The results of this writing show that employee performance in 2022 has gone well according to the procedures and stages in carrying out activities from start to finish.
