Abstract

Traffic accidents are influenced by several factors including the Physical Environment of the Road, Vehicle and Rider. Of the three, have an important role in increasing traffic accidents with satisfactory results. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of the Physical Environment of Roads, Vehicles and Drivers on Traffic Accidents on Jalan Gajah Mada, Banyuwangi Regency. In this study, the research population was Traffic Accidents in Banyuwangi Regency by taking a sample system with a total of 100 respondents (samples). The variables in this study consisted of: the independent variable was the Road Physical Environment (X.1), Vehicle (X.2), and Rider (X.3) and the dependent variable was Traffic Accident (Y). The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS V.21 program obtained multiple linear regression equations: Y= 0.610 + 0.198.X1 + 0.191.X2 + 0.532.X3+ From the results of the multiple linear equations, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the Physical Road Environment on Traffic Accidents (t count 2,339 > t table of 1,98447), Vehicles on Traffic Accidents (t count 2,325 > t table of 1,98447), Drivers on Accidents Traffic (t count 5.520 > t table 1.98447), individually the Physical Environment of Roads, Vehicles and Riders have an effect on Traffic Accidents. The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 60.2% on Traffic Accidents and 39.8%. influenced by variables that were not detected in this study. Keywords: Road, Vehicle, Physical Environment, Driver and Traffic Acciden
