Abstract
The problems that the author has decided include the role of the port office and the Tanjungpinang Class II Port Authority to ensure safety in the effort to cross the Tanjungpinang people to Penyengat Island. The issues raised have a purpose. The purpose of this observation is to determine the Role of the Tanjungpinang Class II Port Authority and Port Authority Office to ensure safety in the effort of crossing the Tanjungpinang people to Penyengat Island. By using the qualitative method and collecting observational data, interviews or library research that the author collected, it can be concluded that in ensuring the safety of the people of Tanjungpinang to Penyengat Island, the Office of the Harbormaster and Class II Port Authority of Tanjungpinang has a very big role in ensuring the safety of the people. From the observations it can be concluded that in ensuring the safety of the people of Tanjungpinang to Sting Island, the Tanjungpinang Class II Port Office and Authority have a very big role in ensuring the safety of the people, even if this role is to always socialize the importance of K3 (Security, Safety and Health) in using traditional inter-island ships, implementing SOPs (Operating Procedure Systems) in facilitating the use of traditional inter-island ships, implementing good traditional ship safety management, implementing ship marine systems and overseeing order embarkation and passenger debarkation.
