Abstract
Indonesia is known as a maritime country because most of its territory is water and is in the form of an archipelago. Therefore, sea transportation is one of the important links between islands. There are many choices of sea transportation that can be used, one of which is ships. So in this case, the role of the authority office in providing PKK is needed to avoid irregular ship arrival schedules. PKK (Ship Arrival Notification) itself is a report on the planned arrival of ships submitted by national sea transportation companies, organizers of special sea transportation activities and people's sea transportation companies to Port Operators. Such as the role of the Tanjung Perak Surabaya Main Port Authority Office in providing notification of ship arrival services, which often experience problems such as changing ship arrival schedules due to erratic weather conditions, resulting in schedule delays that are not in accordance with previous provisions. Therefore, the company or porter on duty must be able to maximize time and always coordinate with the harbormaster and shipping lane monitoring center in order to minimize delays in the ship's arrival schedule.
