Abstract

Transportation is a crucial and strategic means of facilitating economic activities, driven by the desire to establish a well-organized, safe, comfortable, and reliable public transportation system. This is reflected in the increasing demand for transportation services for both people and goods mobility. The availability of public transportation falls under the responsibility of the government, and therefore, vehicles must be regulated through various regulations, including Law Number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation, Government Regulation Number 74 of 2014 on Road Transportation, Minister of Transportation Decree Number 35 of 2003 on the Provision of Public Transportation on Roads, and Garut District Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 on Transportation Administration, specifically Article 57 on Regional Transportation Permit in Garut District.
