Abstract
The background of this research is the decrease in loading and unloading speed at one of the loading and unloading companies at Cirebon Port, namely PT. Bira Bumi Persada. PT. Bumi Persada is a loading and unloading company (Stevedoring) which is engaged in the loading and unloading (L/U) dry bulk. PT. Bira Bumi Persada stevedoring company which operates regularly at Cirebon Port. This study aims to determine the analysis of operator skills, loading and unloading equipment, time perception, number of labor gangs on loading and unloading speed.. Data collection was carried out using 100 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling with the type of sampling that is simple random sampling. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. Through the method of observation, literature study, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS v.25 program. based on the results of research and multiple linear regression analysis, the equation is: Y = -2.323 + 0,337 X1 + 0,206 X2 + 0,375 X3+ 0,288 X4 + µ Where the results of the regression analysis and t test show that the operator skills variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading speed (Y), the loading and unloading equipment variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading speed (Y), the time perception variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading speed (Y), the number of labor gangs variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading speed (Y). The results of the coefficient of determination (R2 = 0,792) which means the variable coefficient of operator skills, loading and unloading equipment, time perception, and number of labor gangs on loading and unloading speed is 79,2.8% while the rest (100% - 79,2% = 20,8%) influenced by other variables outside the study.
