Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about the process of handling clearance in and clearance out of PT. Dharma Laut Utama Branch sheet. There are several background problems that the author needs to solve, namely taking care of clearance in and clearace out documents for ships that will dock and unloading/loading goods, passengers and vehicles at the Lembar Port. The purpose of this observation is to find out the operational procedures in the field and to find out the agencies involved in the process of clearance in and clearance out. As well as how to overcome obstacles when managing clearance in and clearance out. The data collection method used by the author in the preparation of this scientific paper is the observation method by making direct observations at PT. Dharma Lautan Utama, Sheet Branch, interview method by interviewing staff at PT. Dharma Lautan Utama, Sheets Branch, Library study method by collecting documents deemed relevant and in accordance with the title. The conclusion from the discussion of this paper is the need for handling to speed up the process of clearance in and clearance out, although sometimes from a technical point of view there are obstacles but they can be handled properly.
