Abstract
Aviation safety is a very important aspect in the commercial aviation industry. This thesis aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the factors that influence aviation safety in the context of the commercial aviation industry. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to collect relevant data and analyze it.research objectives in this study are to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely safety culture, terminal security, and officer performance on the dependent variable, namely flight safety at Tjilik Riwut Palangkaraya Airport. In this research, the objects taken were Tjilik Riwut Palangkaraya Airport officers. Data sources include secondary and primary data with a sample of 100 respondents who are Tjilik Riwut Airport officers.In this case we use multiple linear regression data analysis techniques with the SPSS IBM V.25 tool which produces the regression equation Y = 7,035 + 0,217 X1 + 0,125 X2 + 0,135 X3+μ. The results of this equation show that there is a positive and significant influence on variables X1 (safety culture) and X3 (officer performance) on variable Y (aviation safety) while variable X2 (terminal security) does not have a positive and significant influence on variable Y ( aviation safety). For the coefficient of determination R square, the final value was 14,2%, which was influenced by variables X1, X2 and X3, while the remaining 85,8% was caused by other factors.
