Abstract
Traffic congestion is a situation or situation where traffic is hampered or even stops due to the large number of vehicles exceeding the road capacity. As time goes by, traffic jams become quite a serious problem. This is because congestion can cause various negative impacts. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the analysis of factors causing traffic jams on the Pantura Juwana road, Pati Regency, with a sample of 100 respondents in this research. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, quota sampling type, data collection used questionnaires, the data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis techniques including validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. With the help of the SPSS v.26 program, the regression formulation in this research is as follows : Y = -0,985 + 0,314X1 + 0,267X2 + 0,331X3 + 0,153X4+ µ The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that there is a positive and partially significant influence between side obstacles on traffic congestion (t count = 4.135 > t table = 1.98498), parking characteristics on traffic jams (t count = 2.703 > t table = 1.98498), road capacity against traffic jams (t count = 3.769 > t table = 1.98498), road damage against traffic jams (t count = 2.034 > t table = 1.98498) while the coefficient of determination gets a value The adjusted R square is 0.508, thus 50.8% influences traffic congestion, while the remaining 49.2% (100% - 50.8%) is explained by variables outside this research.
