Abstract
In the maritime world, all shipping companies always expect that everyone who works on land and on the ship can work well, and knows the risks that can occur if they work not in accordance with applicable regulations. The safety management system is an absolute factor that must be met. It is not uncommon for a job to pay less attention to safety, causing people to fall into the sea. Besides being a direct obstacle, an accident that occurs at sea is also an indirect loss. Based on the accident analysis shows that every accident has a cause. so we can find out why someone drowned in the sea. However, if the rescue of a person drowned in the sea and the victim is unconscious, then we must know about the rescue of the victim if unconscious and if someone drowns in lost waters we know the technique of finding missing persons in waters properly and correctly. The method used is the qualitative method, namely by means of the method of observation in the field. The results of this study, the first is a rescue mechanism if someone falls into the sea. Safety provisions in water are very important. The second is the result of saving the victim if he is unconscious by using common sense. The third is the result of the search for missing persons in these waters with no origin rescue. The first conclusion is that the most important mechanism to save someone drowning in the sea when helping people drown is to remain calm. The second is to know the procedure for rescue someone if unconscious.
