Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Analysis of the Factors Affecting the Sailing Safety of the MT Ship. Vitality At United Maritime Pte Ltd Company Singapore. The sample in this study amounted to 130 MT Ship Employees respondents. Vitality at the United Maritime Pte Ltd Singapore Company, using a non-probability sampling technique, namely quota sampling. Data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 23. The results of research by testing the hypothesis t-test partially showed that Safety Equipment, Ship Conditions and Navigational Aid Facilities that affect Shipping Safety. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the equation is: Y = 5.119 +0,459X1+0,274X2+0,252X3+ µ Shows that, based on empirical data (results of filling out questionnaires) and multiple linear regression results show that the variable Safety Equipment (X1) has a t count value of 4.573 > t table 1.97897 then, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Vessel Condition Variable (X2) has a t count value of 2.763 > t table 1.97897, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The shipping navigation aids variable (X3) has a t count value of 2.618 and a t table of 1.97897, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence between Safety Equipment, Ship Conditions and Navigational Auxiliary Facilities which affect Shipping Safety.
