Abstract
Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, where most of its territory is water, relies more on shipping as the dominant means of transportation, both in terms of distribution of goods, passengers and shipping for the needs of national security and defense. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Ship Crew Resources, the Role of the Safety Handling Master on Passenger Safety at PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang. This research method uses non-probability sampling with the sampling technique used is quota sampling. Y = -0.087 + 0.222 X1 + 0.368 X2 + 0.288 X3 + µ Based on statistical tests, it was found that the Ship Crew Resource (X1), the Role of the Master (X2) and Safety Management (X3) together had a positive and significant effect on Passenger Safety (Y). This is proven by a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. And the coefficient of determination value was obtained (Adjusted R square 0.679) which states that the variables that Ship Crew Resource, Role of the Master, and Safety Handling have an influence on Passenger Safety (67.9%). Meanwhile, other factors that influence passenger safety (Y) are (100%-67.9%=32.1%). Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the results of the multiple linear regression test, the constant value in the multiple linear regression equation showed a value of -0.087, this shows that if improvements are not made to the variables of Ship Crew Resources, Role of the Master, and Safety Handling, then Passenger Safety will suffer. a decrease of 0.087.
