Abstract

Driving safety is one issue that is always getting serious attention in every country. Performance of road traffic safety in Indonesia from a survey conducted in the ADB-ASEAN Ruspanah Andrew in 2014, was ranked 9th out of 10 countries. This indicates that the handling of safety concerns due to road traffic accidents in Indonesia has not been done. Aji Agus research Samekto (2009) mentions that the largest number of victims of traffic accidents in the city of Semarang and dominated by the age group 15-21 years, mostly students or students. Where the largest number of vehicles involved in a traffic accident is a motorcycle. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of independent variables are the driving behavior, driving attitude and understanding of the risks of accidents on the dependent variable, namely safety driving. In this study objects taken were motorcyclists jl raya kedung mundu Semarang, Central Java. Samples are 96 respondents to the technique used is non-probability sampling technique by using incidental sampling, which is a sampling technique based on coincidence or anyone who by chance met with investigators can be used as a sample. Model of research is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research and analysis produced multiple linear equation: Y = 0.499 + 0.346 + 0.361 X1 + 0.283 X2 X3 + μ The results of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive influence partially between the driving behavior of the driver safety (thitung 4.492> t table 1.986), attitude drive towards road safety (thitung 4.486> t table 1.986) and understanding the risk of accidents on road safety (thitung 3.955> ttabel 1.986). The influence of three variables, this study obtained by correlation values Adjusted R2 = 0.618. Simultaneously variable driving behavior, driving attitude and understanding of the risk of accidents, affects 61,8% against and 38,2% of road safety is affected by the variables that were not detected in this study. Keywords: Driving Behavior, Attitudes Driving, Understanding The risk of accidents, salvation Driving
