Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of vehicle condition, driving duration, completeness of driving, and road conditions on driving safety behavior of PO bus drivers. Dedy Jaya Tegal-Jakarta route at the Tegal city terminal. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on driving safety behavior in PO bus drivers. Deddy Jaya. The research method used is a quantitative method with a questionnaire method on PO bus drivers. Dedy Jaya as many as 100 respondents. The analysis techniques used include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, t test, coefficient of determination, and managerial implications. The results of the analysis with the statistical tool SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solutions) Version 25 program obtained the multiple linear regression equation: Y = -2,025+ 0,344.X1 + 0,344.X2 + 0,243.X3 + 0,220.X4 + µ The results of the equation show that there is a positive and significant influence between the Vehicle Condition variable (X1) having (t count 4.833 > t table 1.984), driving period variable (X2) having (t count 3.301 > t table 1.984), driving equipment variable (X3 ) has (t count 2.777 > t table 1.984), and the Road Condition variable (X4) has (t count 2.892 > t table 1.984) As for the value of Adjusted R2 = 0.598. This means that 59.8% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely Driving Safety, is explained by the independent variables, namely Vehicle Condition, Driving Time, Driving Completeness, and Road Conditions. The remaining 100% - 59.8% = 40.2%, influenced by other variables outside the research. Keywords : Driving Safety, Vehicle Condition, Driving Time,Driving Equipment, Road Conditions.
