Abstract
Shipping is one of the very strategic means of transportation for national insight and is a vital means that supports the goals of national unity and integrity. Shipping safety is everything that exists and can be developed in relation to accident prevention measures when carrying out work in the shipping sector. In Law no. 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping, article 1 point 32 states that safety and security is a condition of fulfilling safety and security requirements concerning transportation in waters, ports and the maritime environment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the sea communication system, the application of the ISM code, the KSOP's responsibility for shipping safety at the Tanjung Emas Port Authority and Harbormaster Office. This research method uses non-probability sampling with the sampling technique used is Quota Sampling. Y = -0.087 + 0.222 X1 + 0.368 X2 + 0.388 X3 + μ Based on statistical tests, it was found that the Marine Communication System (X1), ISM Code Implementation (X2), and KSOP Responsibilities (X3) together had a positive and significant effect on Shipping Safety (Y). This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. And obtained the value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R square 0.679) which states that the variable that the Sea Communication System, ISM Code Implementation, and KSOP Responsibilities have an influence on Shipping Safety (67.9%). While other factors that influence shipping safety (Y) are (100% - 67.9% 32.1%). Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the results of the multiple linear regression test, the constant value in the multiple linear regression equation shows a value of -0.087. This indicates that if no improvements are made to the variables of the Sea Communication System, Application of ISM Code, Responsibilities of KSOP, shipping safety will decrease by 0.087.
