Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of convenience, efficiency, and safety on the decisions of pedicab passengers on Jalan Malioboro, Yogyakarta city. The sample in this study amounted to 97 respondents pedaled pedicab passengers, using the technique non probability sampling ie with sampling kuota. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 26. Based on the research results it can be seen that the model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y = 0.929 + 0.513.X1 + 0.293.X2 + 0.118.X3 + µ. From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing the increase in the number of passengers is the variable with a regression coefficient of 0.513. And the R test2 (R Square) obtained a result of 0.711 or 71.1%, which means that the passenger's decision is influenced by the variables of convenience, efficiency and safety, namely 71.1% and other factors that influence passenger decisions by 28.9% or 0.289. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that testing the hypothesis using the t test shows that the convenience variable is 5.320 and the efficiency variable is 3.873 which has a positive and significant effect on passenger decisions, while the safety variable is 1.825 which has no positive and significant effect. While other factors that influence passenger decisions (100% - 71.1%) = 28.9%. So, the remaining 28.9% are other variables not proposed in this study. .
