Abstract

Sea transportation is an isolation gate for areas that are remote and far from the center of activity, especially in supporting economic activities. One of the port services that has a vital role in ship activities at the port is pilotage services. To make this happen, the ship owner directs his representative to take care of all the needs of his ship. Satisfaction of guide service users can be seen from the ability of the service provider to provide the promised service precisely. This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence Scout Expertise, Scout Discipline, and Scout Facilities have on Scout Service User Satisfaction at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV, Sorong Branch. The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents who used scout services at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV, Sorong Branch. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, Y = 0.538 + 0.268X1, + 0.374X2 + 0.283X3 + , which means that the partial test of scout expertise, scout discipline, and facilities has a positive and significant effect on service user satisfaction. Evidenced by the results of a comparison of the value of t count with t table and with a significance level of comparison of 5% (0.05) where the skills variable t count (2.781) > t count (1.6607) with a significant level of 0.007 > 0.05, the Discipline variable guides t count (3.328) > t count (1.6607) with a significant level of .001 > 0.05, facilities variable t count (2.813) > t count (1.6607) with a significant level of 0.006 > 0.05 . Test r2, Scouting Skills, Discipline and Scouting Facilities have a significant effect on the satisfaction of guide service users by 58.2% while 41.8% is explained by other causes outside the model variables that were not examined, such as physical evidence, guarantees and prices, and etc. Keyworsds: Guide Skills, Guide Discipline, Facilities, Pilot Service Users
