Abstract
ABSTRACT Research based on facts in the field, namely the problems caused by Crossing Safety at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch, starting from accidents, order, and comfort at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch, especially workers, causing the safety of crossing transportation at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch is not good. Caused by several factors including crew resources, ship safety equipment, and knowledge of the weather so that crossing problems occur such as accidents caused also sometimes by service users who violate regulations and behave arbitrarily. The formulation of problems, research objectives and hypotheses in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between independent variables, namely crew resources, ship safety equipment, knowledge of weather on the safety of crossing transportation at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch. In this study, the objects taken are service users who use services at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch. This data source includes secondary and primary data with as many as 100 respondents who are service users at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bakauheni Branch. Using multiple linear regression equation analysis techniques with IBM V.25 SPSS tools that produce regression equations Y= 0.533X1 +0.223X2+0.245X3+μ. Shows that there is a partial positive and significant influence between crew resources on the safety of crossing transport (t count 2.580 > t table 1.98447), ship safety equipment on the safety of crossing transport (t count 4.047 > t table 1.98447), knowledge of weather on the safety of crossing transport (t count 2.597 > t table 1.98447). The coefficient of determination gets an Adjusted R square value of 0.619%, thus 61.9%, the remaining 38.1% (100%-61.9%) is caused by other factors.
