Abstract
Traffic compliance is a form of obedience to traffic rules. Jalan Sudirman Palembang is a provincial highway, the presence of Jalan Sudirman facilitates the mobility of Palembang residents. This study aims to determine the sanctions, community culture and riders' understanding of motorcyclist traffic compliance along the Sudirman Palembang road. The population in this study were motorbike riders along Jalan Sudirman Palembang and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with incidental sampling, then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The formulation of the regression in this study is as follows: Y = 0,733 + 0,333X1 + 0,203X2 + 0,385X3 + µ From this equation it is known that the most dominant variable affecting traffic compliance is the driver's understanding variable with a regression coefficient of 0.385. The R2 test (R Square) obtained a result of 0.561 or 56.1%, which means that traffic compliance is influenced by the variables of administrative sanctions, community culture and driver understanding, namely 56.1% and other factors that affect traffic compliance at the Sudirman Palembang road, namely 43.9%. Keyword: traffic compliance with administrative sanctions, community culture and driver understanding
