Abstract
ABSTRACT PT. Krakatu Jasa Samudera is a legally incorporated company engaged in the loading and unloading of goods from the ship's hold to the dock or vice versa from the dock to the ship's hold, the transfer of goods from the ship's dock to the monastery warehouse/farm or vice versa (cargodoring) and the activity of picking up goods from the warehouse/field by truck or vice versa (receiving/delivery). Data sources are important in research because they can be said to be the initial capital before conducting research, as for the types and sources of data used for research, this type of research is divided into two, namely quantitative and qualitative research, for data sources it is also divided into two primary data sources and secondary. The data collection method is an important factor for research success, while the three data collection techniques commonly used are questionnaires, observation, and interviews. In the Steel Slab unloading and loading procedure, PT. Krakatau Jasa Samudera always pays attention to the loading process time. In carrying out the loading of documents that must be required shipping instructions, cargo list, Taily loading, stowge plan, daily working, report, statement of fact, stowage plan, ship specific, matrix, Delivery order, lashing method, material used for scuring. And the obstacles that are often encountered in the loading process are transportation/vehicle delays, rainy weather and waves that are too big.
