Abstract
The National Search and Rescue Agency (BNPP) or known as BASARNAS, is a non-ministerial government agency tasked with carrying out government tasks in the field of search and rescue (Search and Rescue/SAR). The purpose of writing this paper is to find out and explain about the correct handling and first aid preparation process for accidents at sea and find out what tools are prepared by BASARNAS before carrying out first aid. To find out the obstacles that often occur in the process of help and safety support tools used. As well as a rescue route so that victims can get the right first aid.The data collection method used in this descriptive essay uses direct land practice methods, interviews, observation and literature study. In this case collecting data on observation objects related to first aid activities. Based on the results of the discussion it has been obtained that in first aid activities accidents that occur at sea and shipping lanes.The conclusion from this discussion BASARNAS has a very important role in the smooth operation of rescue procedures in the first aid process for work accidents in the sea lanes. Key word : BNPP, first aid, equipment preparation.
