Abstract
ABSTRACT The main topic of discussion in the writing of this paper is regarding the handling of furniture exports owned by CV. Mandiri Abadi by PT. Kusuma Mitra Cargo Semarang. There are several background problems that the author must solve, namely the ordering process and costs for taking containers, the export flow, what documents are used, and which parties are involved in handling it. PT. Kusuma Mitra Kargo Semarang is a shipping company engaged in the management of goods and documents for export and import. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how the ordering process is and what costs are needed in taking containers, knowing the flow, documents, and which parties are involved in handling exports at PT. Kusuma Mitra Cargo Semarang. In collecting data during onshore practice (Prada), the authors used methods namely observation, document analysis, literature study, and interviews. The result of the discussion of this paper is the handling of furniture exports owned by CV. Mandiri Abadi by PT. Kusuma Mitra Kargo will run smoothly if each process is carried out correctly according to the correct procedure. Keywords: Process and flow, handling, export, document, EMKL, container, furniture.
