Abstract
ABSTRACT The main discussion in writing this paper is made to obtain an in-depth description of the role of PT. Widhi Satria Jaya Lines Gresik Branch, especially the process of ensuring the seaworthiness of the TB ship. Buana Eternity 3 at Gresik Public Port, documents needed, related agencies, ship operational costs, stages passed, constraints experienced and solutions to overcome obstacles in ensuring seaworthiness and the results of solving these solution constraints . For the data used by the author using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with field operations and branch heads. While secondary data obtained through books, archives, and other sources. The data collection method used is observation which sees directly the activities at the port. The results of the study can be concluded that the company is engaged in shipping agency services where this company helps provide services in ensuring the seaworthiness of ships at the Gresik Public Port.
