Abstract
Importance of Rescue Crane in Efforts to Save Lives by KN. SADEWA SAR 231 National Search and Rescue Agency (BNPP) Semarang. The main point of discussion in writing this paper is the The background of the problem in this paper is the work system of the Rescue Crane engine, operating factors, and maintenance systems. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the meaning and use of a Rescue Crane, the causes of damage, how to operate, and maintain the Rescue Crane machine in KN. Sadewa SAR in accordance with applicable procedures. In the process of collecting data to support the contents of this paper, the authors use several methods. In terms of sources, the authors use primary and secondary data. The author's data collection method uses interviews, library research, and observations. The results of the discussion of this paper are to find out the use of a Rescue Crane and the causes of damage that can damage the Rescue Crane engine system, the stages of activating the machine before carrying out operation, and maintenance on the Rescue Crane machine which is carried out routinely according to the procedure. The conclusion from making this paper is the use of Rescue Crane as a safety support tool on board to evacuate victims who have been hit by a disaster, the main factor causing damage to the Rescue Crane engine comes from the lack of skilled and thorough crew members in maintaining the engine system, the way maintenance is carried out in accordance with the plan and scheduling, and knowledge of how to operate a Rescue Crane machine that is justified by supporting theoretical foundations accompanied by the application of work safety.
