Abstract
The main topic of discussion in scientific papers is about optimization pasanger embarkstion activities in ochieve on time performance by the PT.Pelayaran nasional Indonesia at tanjung priok port. Intended for finding out the main problems that hinder the process of shoting activities in KM. Nggapulu to cause delays in the departure of the ship. To get an overview of the embarkation process at KM. Nggapulu as erll as to find out more about the main issues the main problems is in optimizing activities and effort made to achieve on time performance and find out solution for how to reduce the accurrence of delays in shipdeparture that happen. The method used by the author is primery and secondary data. Primery data was obtained direcly by interviewing related parties in embarkation activities. While secondary data obtained from data, archives and other sources. The author make direct field observasion at the tanjung priok passanger port terminal in Jakarta. The result obtained from the autors observasion are the causes of delay in ship departure, including in the form of uncertain weather factor,hanpered baggade checking activities, less than optimal security, baggage workers and disordery drivers, visitors as well as optimizing activities to fulfill ship needs. and the effort made to avoid delay in ship departure always communication and cordinatioon with related parties, controlling baggage workers, and not allowing escort visitors.
