Abstract
Ngesrep road is a road which became the main entrance of the Diponegoro University Tembalang. Region Ngesrep this, now filled with the buildings of shops, a hardware store, travel agency, pharmacy, garages, vehicles, bank, the course, photocopying services, beauty parlors, and street vendors who use tents are temporary established in pedestrian feet, base of parking of public transport, and the base motorcycle taxis which flies toward Diponegoro UniversityTembalang. Thus arises a problem caused by the activities of the street traders of the issue of traffic congestion due to the lack of the government's role in dealing with the orderliness Street vendors in Jalan Semarang Ngesrep Tembalang. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors - factors that affect traffic congestion in Jalan Semarang Ngesrep Tembalang, so it can be drawn up an action plan for these problems. From identification of problems, the author found that the cause of traffic congestion in Jalan Semarang Ngesrep Tembalang is caused by the volume of traffic, parking existence and activities of street vendors. In this study places the user is taken Roads Ngesrep Tembalang Semarang . Sources of data include primary and secondary data . Samples in this study were 100 respondents who are users of roads Ngesrep Tembalang Semarang . Based on empirical facts and the results of that research model and the multiple linear regression statistical tools SPSS ver 22.0 in get multiple linear regression equation is the research model are : Y = 2,613 + 0, 162 X1 + 0,499 X2 + 0,199 X3 The results of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive influence partially between the volume of traffic to the Traffic Congestion ( 2.128 t count > t table 1.9849 ) , presence of parking against traffic congestion ( 7.963 t count > t table 1.9849 ) Activities PKL against traffic Congestion ( t count 2,577 > t table 1.9849 ) . The third influence is very strong research variables with the value of the correlation R = 0.531. Keywords : Traffic Volume , Presence parking , Activities street vendors .
