Abstract
Screw Compressor is an auxiliary machine which plays a very important role in the production process in the asbeston industry. Due to the very important function of the screw compressor in asbeston production, without a screw compressor the smooth operation of propulsion machines and production machines in the industry is less than optimal or even disrupted. Given the important role of the screw compressor, the maintenance of the screw compressor in the factory needs special attention so that it is always ready for use and works well to support the performance conditions of the pressing machine. Knowing the clogged oil separator factor in the screw compressor which results in obstructed air flow. Knowing the bearing screw lubrication on the screw compressor that overheating occurs. To know the steps to prevent damage or leakage in the screw compressor. Efforts to overcome problems with screw compressors during the asbeston processing process need to carry out observations, tests, interviews, surveys and document analysis. From the results of the experience, one can draw conclusions and solve problems according to the situation and conditions in order to increase the pressure of the screw compressor for the asbeston production process.
