Abstract
Clearence in and out service is one of the shipping company's business that handles the documents and needs of the ship, from the ship that will enter the dock until the ship finishes loading/unloading activities at the dock and then the ship will depart to the next port of call. At PT Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang branch is a RO-RO ferry shipping company operating in the field of sea transportation, especially crossings between islands in Indonesia. In the process of handling documents and ship needs such as processing ship certificates, supplying fresh water, crew, requesting food for the crew and so on, from entry to exit the ship is carried out by outside service staff. The writing of this Final Project aims to 1) Knowing the Clearance service process in and out of the KM ship. Dharma Kartika VII, 2) Knowing the parties involved, 3) Knowing the supporting documents for Clearance in and out, and 4) Knowing the obstacles in the field in the Clearance in and out process. This type of research includes descriptive research with the object of the Clearance in and out service process of KM. Dharma Kartika VII. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. The results of the analysis obtained are as follows: 1) Clearance service process in and out of KM ship. Dharma Kartika VII, namely a) Clearence process in dilukak notification through inaportnet, and booking guide, tug, fresh water, b) Doing docking, c) Perform services during the ship docked at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang, and d) Clearence process out. 2) Parties involved in Clearance services in and out of KM ships. DHARMA KARTIKA VII at Tanjung Emas port Semarang include a) PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia III Tanjung Emas Semarang, b) Port Health Quarantine, and c) Office of Syahbandar Port Authority (KSOP) Tanjung Emas. 3) What ship documents must be prepared in the implementation of clearance. 4) constraints in clearance service procedures.
