Abstract

The main topic of discussion in writing this paper is regarding the embarkation and debarkation services for KM passengers. Dharma Rucitra 9 PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang branch, there are several background problems that the author must solve, namely passenger embarkation and debarkation services and the obstacles faced in embarkation and disembarkation activities. PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang branch which is a sea transportation service provider company that focuses on Ro-Ro ships, especially the Semarang-Kalimantan route, where PT. Dharma Lautan Utama will serve passengers and vehicles wishing to travel from Java Island to Kalimantan Island with a fleet of Ro-Ro ships. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out how the service process for passenger embarkation and debarkation activities and to find out the constraints in embarking and debarking activities. Based on the data collection that the writer did during the observation, the writer used several methods, namely interviews, documentation, and literature study. The result of this discussion is the completion of the embarkation and debarkation activities for KM passengers. Dharma Rucitra 9 PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Semarang branch will run smoothly without a hitch if each party can fulfill the established procedures. Keywords: service, embarkation, debarkation and passengers
