Abstract
PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara is engaged in ship agency which includes the process of arriving and departing ships, changing crew members, and managing Clearance In and Clearance Out of foreign ships through the carrier's Single Submission System (SSm), coordinating with related parties and completing settlement documents Clearances In and Out. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the activities of Clearance In and Clearance Out of Foreign Ships through the carrier's Single Submission System (SSm), who are the parties involved and what documents are related to the Clearance In and Clearance Out process through the Single System Submission (SSm). Based on data collection carried out during field practice, the authors used several data collection methods including observation, interviews and literature, the results obtained were that Clearance In and Clearance Out through the Carrier's Single Submission System (SSm), will make it easier for shipping agents because there is no need to to input data repeatedly. It is sufficient for the carrier or shipping agent to submit reports on the arrival and departure of the ship only once, so that it will increase process efficiency and time.
