Abstract
The main topic of discussion in writing this paper is the operation and maintenance of the Water Canon on the State Ship SAR Sadewa 231. The background of the problem in this paper is the working system of the Water Canon, operating factors and maintenance systems. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how to operate and maintain the Water Canon on the State Ship SAR Sadewa according to applicable procedures. The process of collecting data to support the contents of this paper, the authors use several methods. The author uses primary and secondary data. The author's data collection method uses interviews, library research, and observations. The results of the discussion of this paper are knowing the stages of activating the machine before carrying out the operation and maintenance of the Water Canon which is carried out routinely according to the procedure. The conclusion of making this paper is to inform how maintenance is carried out in accordance with planning, scheduling and knowledge of how to operate a Water Canon which is justified by supporting theoretical foundations accompanied by the application of work safety. Get to know the component parts of the fire pump to support the operational performance of the Water Canon and know how to care for the fire pump component parts properly and correctly so that they are not easily damaged. Understand every part of the fire pump so that you understand and understand how to operate it properly and correctly according to the Standard Operational Procedure. Explains the notion of Water Canon and understands each of the component parts of the Water Canon that are useful for helping the Water Canon perform optimally.
