Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the M.V Elisabeth Ship Agency Process in Handling Clearance In and Clearance Out by PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Surabaya Branch. There are several background problems that the author must solve, namely the process of Clearance In and Clearance Out activities and the obstacles faced in dealing with ships that are operated at the port where they are in transit. Take care of all ship activities starting from the initial arrival of the ship at the port until the time of departure. In operating a cargo ship there are various activities/activities for handling the arrival and departure of ships, as well as taking care of all the needs of the ship. PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Surabaya Branch is very important in managing all ship needs from the initial arrival until the ship sails to the next port. In this regard, it is necessary to find out what documents are during Clearance In/Out. The purpose of writing this Scientific Papers is none other than to find out how the process of Clearance In/Out activities is, what agencies are involved in the agency on the M.V Elisabeth ship, what documents are needed and what obstacles and solutions interfere with the handling process when Clearance In/Out on the M.V Elisabeth ship by PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Surabaya Branch.
