Abstract
Centrifugal pump is one type of pump that has a very wide scope of use related to the head and capacity produced. On this occasion the author tries to present the results of research on the analysis of centrifugal pump performance. The valve opening angle (valve) is intended to determine the increase in pump performance that occurs due to the opening of the valve angle (valve). Increasing the pump valve opening greatly affects the capacity of the resulting water flow, this will also affect pump performance, specific speed, power and pump efficiency. this can be done if followed by the addition of power from the driving motor.
