Abstract
The existence of car air conditioning can provide comfort when we drive. Comfort when driving is very necessary, especially in cars, various ways and human efforts so that comfort when driving is achieved. In order for the car air conditioner to continue to work optimally, it is necessary to carry out maintenance including small services and major services on various components of the air conditioner (air conditioner) including compressors, condensers, filter drainers, expansion valves and evaporators. based on the results of identifying the maintenance and repair of the Toyota Kijang Type LSX air conditioner, the most common maintenance carried out during servicing includes services carried out at 10,000 km or every 4 months and 30,000 km once a year, this inspection method can be done by leak inspection method, damage analysis and leak detector method, when carrying out refrigerant or freon service discharging or vacuuming is the process of removing air or water vapor and refrigerant remaining in the air conditioner system with a manifold gauge, so that the (air conditioner circulation system) is clean and ready to be refilled with new refrigerant. In addition to maintenance of the air conditioner circulation system, it also discusses how to overcome or repair damaged components of the air conditioner.
